Rival 500 - Want to change default CPI and assign button 09
See original GitHub issueGot installed on macOS and this is the error I get:
The following mouse was found but rivalcfg was not able to open it:
* mouse: SteelSeries Rival 500 (Experimental) (1038:170E)
* error: Unable to find the requested device: 1038:170E:00
Please check that no other application is controlling this mouse and try to:
* unplug the mouse from the USB port,
* wait few seconds,
* and plug the mouse to the USB port again.

It can store profiles on the mouse. I dualboot windows and ubuntu and if the mouse didn’t store profiles on it, it should reset to defaults on reboot, which it doesn’t. And regarding the assignment of buttons: I am very interested in that feature, and am willing to look into it, but it has to wait until February, because I’m very busy atm.
I close this issue.
