Stuck on an issue?

Lightrun Answers was designed to reduce the constant googling that comes with debugging 3rd party libraries. It collects links to all the places you might be looking at while hunting down a tough bug.

And, if you’re still stuck at the end, we’re happy to hop on a call to see how we can help out.

Only access the server on explicit request

See original GitHub issue
  • VSCode Version: 1.17.2
  • OS Version: FreeBSD 11.1
  • Extension Version: 1.9.0
  • System Language: Italian

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. open VSCode
  2. open directory with SVN checkout
  3. wait a bit (doing nothing SVN-related)
  4. an SSH agent pop-up appears to ask for password

I also tried "svn.diff.withHead": false but it still happens.

I’d prefer for the plugin to stick to locally available data unless instructed otherwise, i.e. of course if I ask a svn blame on a file the server is needed, but I don’t like the random connections (and modal password requests that this produces) just to update the status of files in the GUI.
