Cannot add data (Non-negative number required. Parameter name: count)

I’m submitting a bug report about edit experience / UI /admin experience UI.

I created a simple app with one data set (6 or 7 fields) with one view (one file). Nothing else was created or changed.

When adding data (with “new” option in the toolbar) I made a mistake, so in the admin panel I tried deleting that data, but it claimed it was being used (log below). I didn’t quite understand it (why is there any relation at all from this item with whatsoever), so I forced deleted it. From then on, I cannot add any item at all, getting the error “Non-negative number required. Parameter name: count”.

@andyduo yes, there is 😃. Basically you must fix the content-group for this. It’s a bit tricky to find.

1. First: find the id or guid of the content-group, by watching the network calls with F12 when you want to open certain dialogs - probably sort-items would be best
2. then in the Data section of the app, change scope to “2SexyContent-System” and there you’ll find the content-groups. You’ll need to find the one you had before
3. in that you’ll see a list of content-items and presentation items. The count probably won’t match. get them to match - maybe remove one item or so from the content (you can add it later again in the normal way)

That should get everything fixed.

removing the app and adding it again to the page solved this same issue for me
