selection tool - buffer zone and buffer within the area

See original GitHub issue

buffering operations:

  • select a district from districts layer and get the points of interest within the selected area
  • select a tram line from tram lines layer an get the points of interest with a buffer zone (e.g. 500m)

it’s true and we all know that it’s a basic functionality i know that we all have thought about this and that we’ve already felt this need https://github.com/3liz/lizmap-web-client/issues/589 i imagine it should not be an easy job and that it requires a lot of resources

i don’t know the 3liz development strategy for the LWC project i have not a very good support contract with the 3Liz guys...

but very sincerely, i only recognize in the 3liz team an exceptional wisdom, a great technical capacity and an amazing creativity i love your project and i also feel it as my project (if i may say so)

thank you very much and all the best

We are developing a support of QGIS Processing scripts, server side, inside Lizmap. This kind of operation will then be possible (create the buffer script withing QGIS, publish it with Lizmap for one or many projects)

Probably achieved at the end of 2017
