IDE doesn't finish loading

I was excited to see this project, especially because of its author!

Unfortunately, when I try to open my project, the IDE file browser just continues to show ‘loading’ (see screenshot). After waiting for some time, I am able to open files with Ctrl+P, but the file tree doesn’t show.

The console output looks like this:

@basarat I would really love to be able to contribute but unfortunately I just don’t have the time. When I get a chance I will try to run the project on a windows machine.

Hi Bas,

It seems the issue with slow loading was nothing to do with alm. I was having some other file system related performance issues, so just reinstalled kubuntu and now alm opens my project in a perfectly acceptable time.

Can you be more specific of what is slow to load. I know the 34s error analysis time feels slow, is it just that or something else too? Again thanks for trying 🌹

The font in the file tree is very small in comparison to the editor font

Provides more horizontal space for file listing + people asked me to bump up the editor font
