Existing ng 6 CLI project with three projects (one app and two libraries) following output from ng update

To disable this warning use "ng config -g cli.warnings.versionMismatch false".
    We analyzed your package.json, there are some packages to update:

Desired functionality

Remove node_modules and try again

Still broken in ng7 and cli v7.

ng update yields:
