[1.8.1] Unclear internal error occurs frequently with parallel devices
See original GitHub issueThe problem
POST /wd/hub/session/:session_id/elements
often responds with error 500 instead of detailing what happened (I would assume the path was not found)
Environment
- Appium version (or git revision) that exhibits the issue: 1.8.1
The application is opened on my device, and sometimes I get a successful response from appium, but most times I just get an internal error code 500. I was wondering if there is a way to test if the app is “opened” or “ready” or something similar ?
Thanks for your time 😃

I would try to look for similar questions on Appium forum. I’m sure there are many people who have solved that
