See original GitHub issueIf you plan to release a new version for webpack 4, it’s time for breaking change
Related to https://github.com/arthurbergmz/webpack-pwa-manifest/issues/39 I thought about remove ios
property (in icons) and introduce a new type
property, which could be:
favicon
: inject<link rel=icon type=image/png sizes=##x##
in index.htmlsafari
: inject<link rel=apple-touch-icon
in index.html (currentios: true
)edge
: set icons in browserconfig.xmlchrome
: set icons in manifest.json
with chrome
as default

Have been waiting for the favicons part for quite some time… Is there an ETA for the functionality? When is 4.0.0 going to land? if it is already there… can you update the Readme please?

Unfortunately, I’ve been a little busy with some college projects and v4.0.0 may take another week or two, I hope you understand… I’m sorry and I’ll be releasing the new version as soon as possible!
In the meanwhile, v3.6.0 was release with Webpack 4 support, but there are no API changes.
