Philips Hue (signify LCA001) power estimation is off by a factor of 2

See original GitHub issue

Hello,

Thank you for this awesome project. I am quickly writing to you my discovery to make you aware of it.

I just took few minutes this morning to check the readings of a Shelly Plug S and to compare it to the estimation made by this module. Here are my (non scientific) readings :

Reality vs Estimate

<Shelly Plugs s power reading> instead of <computed value>

Whites

White (4000K probably called “reading” by Philips Hue App) at 100% -> 6.8 W instead of 3.5 W Warmest white at 100% -> 5 W instead of 2.64 W Coldest white at 100 % -> 6.6 W instead of 3.21 W

Colors

Red 6.6 W instead of 3.86 W Green 3.2 W instead of 2.14 W Blue 2.1 W instead of 2 W (Good)

Thank you for your time.

I may have time (in one or two weeks) to use the script.

Best Regards,

@nepozs I have checked all LUT files for this same issue, but fortunately LCA001 is the only one which has this issue. I have added validation in github action so we can make sure there will never be a “half” CSV file commited in the repo.

However the color mode, light entity etc. must be selected for each run as they change each time.

What’s the problem to provide them in .env and run it in batch mode? If they are not set ask questions to provide missing inputs.
