Problem with ikea GU10 light

See original GitHub issue

I’ve added Hue lights without problem. But when I try to add my Ikea GU10 I’ve got an error in logs. According to your compatibility list the standard 400lm light is LED1650R5.

Sensors.yaml:

  entity_id: light.ikea_gu_10
  manufacturer: ikea
  model: LED1650R5

Error log:

Skipping sensor setup light.ikea_gu_13: ('No lookup file found for mode', 'color_temp')
Skipping sensor setup light.ikea_gu_8: ('No lookup file found for mode', 'color_temp')
Skipping sensor setup light.ikea_gu_9: ('No lookup file found for mode', 'color_temp')
Skipping sensor setup light.ikea_gu_10: ('No lookup file found for mode', 'color_temp'

After a long search, I’ve found two more pieces of LED1537R6 to try measurements once again, as of piece found in drawer has unsuccessful measurements… #46 I’ve marked that bulb as bad and put it in box marked “electro-waste” ;D (but also for experiments if reupload firmware is possible or just for dismantle). edit2: I was wrong - first bulb also works, it is problem elsewhere.

I have started last measurement (I hope), so if it will be successful I will try to create PR at the evening (if not, as my neighbour using the same power line started next phase of repair his apartment, I will try do measure next week, as I have to work some days away from home).

Edit1: there is strange behaviour in interaction with script, but I will wait to finalize measure to be sure (it looks like there is the same problem as before - brightness is not going up).

Last edit: LUT for LED1537R6 (using old script version) finally is READY.

I’ve found LED1537R6 in my drawer, so it is planned to measure in next batch. I had to stop measurements due to firmware update and problem with repairing Ikea bulbs to Hue bridge #46 . Now I have solution - touchlink pairing directly with bridge, but my vacation has ended (so I’ve not enough time for extensive measurements).

@bramstroker It looks like Ikea sells technically different models with the same recognizable name eg. TRADFRI bulb GU10 WS 400lm which can be LED1537R6 or LED1739R5.
