Firefox 80 issue? Browserpass icon disappears

Exact steps to reproduce the problem

1. Start new instance of firefox

2. Very quickly after the window gets visible the browserpass icon disappears

3. after manually disable/enable the browserpass addon in firefox the icon stays visible as long as firefox isn’t closed

4. after closing and opening a new instance: browserpass icon disappears again.

What should happen?

browserpass icon should be avilable

What happened instead?

browserpass icon disappers

Problem started after Firefox was updated from v79 to v80

Luckily it works, I just pushed browserpass-firefox-3.5.0-2 to community, do let me know if you still experience some issues 🙂

Ok, I see and it makes perfect sense. I agree, a second install has a smell and even more if it would be the only package doing so 😃 Thanks for taking the time and explaining it!
