Random Dropbox errors listing files

See original GitHub issue

Since we migrated to Dropbox v2 API we’re getting random errors on some calls to their API. Stack trace:

DropboxApi::Errors::HttpError: HTTP 500:

File "/home/ubuntu/www/production.cartodb.com/releases/20170612132635/services/datasources/lib/datasources/url/dropbox.rb", line 124 in block in get_resources_list

As you see, listing files fails from time to time. It’s less than 1% of the calls, and we haven’t managed to reproduce yet.

I’ve contacted Dropbox support.

We probably would need to log Dropbox response headers which I’m guessing would require some modifications of the dropbox gem, which is likely to not be easy (unless the gem has a parameter for this). Probably not worth the investment unless we keep hearing this.
