Are you using the same version of the Gradle plugin as the IDE plugin?

Was having the same issue, then I checked the project build.gradle and saw that I was using sqldelight 1.0.3 (classpath “com.squareup.sqldelight:gradle-plugin:1.0.3”); as Jake said you should check if you are using the same version in the project’s build.gradle and in the module’s build.gradle
