See original GitHub issueOnly in version 1.1.1 and up, 1.1.0 and above working as expected

Was having the same issue, then I checked the project build.gradle and saw that I was using sqldelight 1.0.3 (classpath “com.squareup.sqldelight:gradle-plugin:1.0.3”); as Jake said you should check if you are using the same version in the project’s build.gradle and in the module’s build.gradle
