Well, it is sort of documented already. That alpha/beta/rc versions are not considered stable is well established in software versioning schemes, e.g. in Semantic Versioning. And the Releases page lists all releases, so finding the latest one is pretty straightforward. The README itself lives in the repo, and is thus versioned, so depending on which tag you are on it might show different information. This is why we are not using it for certain things that might need to change, only more generally applicable information.

linux-arm64 is not currently something we can support due to the lack of an officially supported CDM from Widevine. For more information see #23 and #41.

You can probably use electron-packager if you jump through some hoops, we have instructions for electron-builder in our FAQ though, so it might be easier.

Ok, that probably explains it, the v6 series is very old, and no longer supported.

The README is just an example and we are not updating it for every release. We should probably at least add a note saying to make sure to use a currently supported version though.
