The 'old' login page is going to be retired in the near future

We got a mail from Bryan today:

Please note that in the near future, our team will deprecate the old log-in page and route folks to the new log-in page. We’re doing this so that we’re not maintaining multiple log-in pages.

We need to update:

release (by merging the fix branch)
master (by merging the fix branch)
cgeo-legacy (by cherry-picking from release)

There is no reason for them to revert, as @rsudev said it has been existing for a while.
