I noticed the issue on an internal page, but I expect this to affect Atlassian in general.

Steps To Reproduce

Look at an inline code part in e.g. Confluence:

`name`

notice that the background only affects the beginning of the inline code

Expected Behavior

The whole code snippet should have a highlighted background

Actual Behavior

Only the beginning is highlighted

The background is white when the page is loaded, but when I scroll down a bit it becomes dark. If the page is not enough “long” to be able to scroll it, the background will stay white.

Well, can you provide a specific link so I can take a look?

sadly not, as this is happening on internal pages in our company. But this should be the same for any jira/confluence user.
