Search results inside packages directories are duplicated for all copies
See original GitHub issueWhen opening a file with <kbd>CMD</kbd> + <kbd>p</kbd> it will search all the /packages
directories. Which is really noisy.

I didn’t realise some things still needed them, but I did re-mark this as a bug and think it should be fixed.
Also a good point!
You can mostly fix this yourself for now (excluding packages) by adding
search.exclude
to your user settings, but I’ll investigate if we can influence the default behaviour.I cannot repro this anymore; I wonder if Code has been updated not to show duplicates when the resolved paths are identical (I can’t find a case about this to confirm unfortunately).
I’m marking this as fixed in Code, but feel free to post back if anyone still sees this (though without
--packages-dir
it might not be an issue anyway).
