3.0.7 version update not available via Help | About GitHub Desktop
See original GitHub issueThe problem
I have GitHub Destop 3.0.6 x64 installed on Win11.
I noticed yesterday in Stable Release Notes that v3.0.7 was released. I confirmed the above by going to https://desktop.github.com/ and downloading latest ‘GitHubDesktopSetup-x64.exe’ the version of which is 3.0.7.0
.
The issue is that when I go to: Help | About GitHub Desktop, there’s no prompt to update to 3.0.7.
Release version
3.0.6
Operating system
Windows 11
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Go to: Help | About GitHub Desktop
- Click “Check for Updates”
- You’ll see “You have the latest version (last checked just now)”.
