Pull request sync button often doesn't do anything
See original GitHub issueDescribe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is. When clicking the “Refresh the list of pull requests” button on the branch dropdown this button often doesn’t do anything. In fact, I have barely ever seen it working, causing it to often show closed PRs and now show new ones after the app was opened.
Version & OS
Open ‘About GitHub Desktop’ menu to see the Desktop version. Also include what operating system you are using. Version 2.6.1 on Windows 10 version 20H2 OS build 19042.685
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Open a repository
- Select the “Current branch” dropdown
- Choose the “Pull requests tab”
- Check the available pull requests
- Open/close a pull request on said repository on github.com
- Hit “Refresh the list of pull requests” and observe how the list should stay the same (button doesn’t give any visual feedback either like a pressing animation)
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. The pull requests should’ve been synced.
Actual behavior
A clear and concise description of what actually happened. The list of pull requests stayed the same and even included old ones
