Question

Hello, I just discover this repo and it looks like a great workaround and reverse engineering of Instagram lack of good public API.

As it’s not an official API, I also checked the issue and I saw a lot of API-block flags, so what are the risk using this repo for the user ( ban from Instagram or just reset password need ? ) but also as a service: How many times did you experience breaking changes from the Instagram API and how long is usually your repair time? Have you been contacted by the Instagram team for law reason? Do you have any recommendation on how to optimize the usage of this repo like using a proxy?

Thanks in advance!

@Androz2091 & @sergeykomlev Thanks for your answers but I’m looking on more precise informations, like the usual repair time in case of breaking change API to evaluate the risks in production more precisely.

I work with API more than 1.5 years, I know who works more than 5 years with private API’s. Sometimes something changed, but not critically, all issues can be fixed.
