Changing the theme by pressing Apply does not changes the Stickers or Background

See original GitHub issue

Describe the bug

When you change the theme in Settings > Appearance & Behavior > Doki Theme Settings > Current Theme and you press Apply, the Background Wallpaper and Sticker will not be changed. This only happens when you press Apply instead of OK.

To Reproduce

  1. Set any theme
  2. Change the Theme and press Apply (Wallpaper and Sticker will not be changed)
  3. Press OK (This will apply the Wallpaper and Sticker Correctly)

Expected Behavior

The Wallpaper and Sticker is applied when pressing Apply, so I’m not forced to close the window and reopen it to test the different themes.

Environment

PyCharm 2020.3.4 (Community Edition) Build #PC-203.7717.65, built on March 16, 2021 Runtime version: 11.0.10+8-b1145.96 amd64 VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o. Windows 10 10.0 GC: ParNew, ConcurrentMarkSweep Memory: 976M Cores: 4 Non-Bundled Plugins: io.acari.DDLCTheme

@justalemon

So I accidentally stumbled across the fix for the sticker part. There isn’t anything I can do for the background drawing on apply though.

I’ve got the release published to my canary channel.

Is good to know that it can be fixed.

I would really appreciate it if you leave a message here once a fix is ready to test it on canary.
