@mrward I uninstalled using the script you provided and reinstalled VS for Mac workloads I was missing after the uninstall and everything seems to be working now. Thanks for the help!

We would probably need the IDE logs from VS Mac to see what happened here. I would not post them here though since they may have PII data, but instead use VS Mac’s Help - Report a Problem.

VS Mac uses dotnet cli to install workloads, but it may download the .nupkg files locally and use those, if you updated the workloads from the Check for Updates dialog, so it is not quite the same as a dotnet workload install. If you install a workload from the infobar notification then that should be the same as ‘dotnet workload install’ from the command line.

As a workaround you could uninstall the .NET SDK and install it again, and the required workloads. Or as a temporary workaround, rename the /usr/local/share/dotnet directory to something else. Not sure there is an official way to uninstall .NET SDK. I usually use this script, which has not been updated in a while, but does a reasonable job of removing things - https://github.com/dotnet/cli/blob/master/scripts/obtain/uninstall/dotnet-uninstall-pkgs.sh
