Use the Discord Audit Log to see why Nightbot is so twitchy with new users, emojis etc
See original GitHub issueWe constantly have Nightbot coming along and just basically deleting messages from new people in the Discord channel for an innocent link.
It is possible that @MEE6 could actually prompt the user to start off with using the ^bio functionality and then parsing the URLs, and then maybe telling Nightbot that the ^bio stuff is then “excluded” from the “link spamming functionality”?
Can we look at the weird Audit Log API from Discord to actually find what the message was and then maybe “replay” the message?*
- this is where my idea falls over, looking for ideas for this… good ideas:
- prompt the user to use ^bio?
- somehow tell a moderator and allow that?!
bad ideas:
- tell the user we are very sorry and they should paste links as `twitter DOT com SLASH theirprofile
