Hey, good morning, I was thinking about a feature I would love.

I could write my own plugin but decided to google first and see what exists.

I want to be able to specify content lengths for my frontmatter fields.

Basically I want to maintain a small settings in a dict.

{
Title: 60,
Description: 140,
}

Then when I write a title or description, if I go over the above char counts the additional characters get highlighted with a red background. For SEO purposes mostly.

Is this something you would consider adding?

@Fasani why, no idea actually. I had issues in the past with Hugo and dates. When they were with quotes, I had some formatting issues. Found an article back then where someone proposed to use it without. That is why it got implemented. If you do not experience any issues with it. I would just ignore it ☺️.

The description check has now been implemented in version 1.3.0. Feel free to test it out.
