Hello,

I am trying to setup the push notification using the firebase on android and I am getting the following error when running the build .I am exactly following the instructions that were mentioned in the README document.

I am using React-native version 0.53

In my case, I have solved it doing as below:

    compileSdkVersion 26
    buildToolsVersion '26.0.2'
....
}

Previously it was like:

    buildToolsVersion '26.0.2'

}

@datadreamer1 android:resource="@mipmap/ic_notif" is in android/app/src/res/mipmap-*, for each path, you need to create a image called ic_notif.

This resolved the error
