HoverZoom freezes webpage on aws.amazon.com/elasticmapreduce
See original GitHub issueDescribe the bug This is highly specific but easy to reproduce. The entire tab freezes when attempting to clone a cluster on AWS ElasticMapReduce.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to console.aws.amazon.com/elasticmapreduce/home and sign in.
- Select an existing cluster to clone (assumes a cluster already exists).
- Click “Clone” at the top of the page.
- Entire tab will freeze and lock up.
Expected behavior Tab should continue working normally.
Screenshots Page below is completely frozen, hitting the back button or even pressing CMD+W does nothing.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: macOS 11.2.3
- Browser: Chrome 89.0.4389.114
- Version: 1.0.173
Additional context
Adding aws.amazon.com
to the blacklist of websites fully resolves the issue. Given the specificity of this bug, I’d be happy to provide any additional context or help in finding the root cause of the issue.
