Files doesn't work with my cooperate (company) PC

See original GitHub issue

Description

After installed, I noticed that following function is not working in my cooperate PC:

  • System context menu doesn’t show 3rd-party software like TotoiseSVN
  • OneDrive for Business folder is not displayed in Left-Side Bar (is this feature not implemented?)
  • Run “Open in Terminal…” is not working

I supposed that the following application installed in my PC may conflict with Files, but I hope you can check detail from log file:

  • Carbon Black Cloud Sensor
  • Trend Micro Apex One
  • System Group Policy may be controlled by my cooperate

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Right click on empty area of a folder
  2. Check the Left-side bar
  3. Right click on a folder, then select “Open in Terminal…”

Expected behavior

  1. Context menu item for 3rd-party software like TotoiseSVN should show up
  2. OneDrive for Business should show up
  3. Command Prompt window should open

Files Version

Version: 2.0.13.0 OS Version: 10.0.18363.1556

Thanks for the report. #6600 should fix this issue. Basically Files does not work correctly on Windows 10 < 2004. I understand you’ve got a PC on which Files is working, what’s its windows version?
