v 58.0, extracted jar file and submitted herd.localdb.template as CF template. Standard defaults, except changed m1.large to m3.large, and chose my own PEM file.

us-east-1

HerdRestAPI and HerdBuildInfo URL’s work appropriately, but UI fails to load with 403.

since this issue refers to an old HERD-UI that we no longer use and is deprecated, I’m going to close this issue. If you have trouble with the new one you can open an issue here:
