Having a 'Hide this track' item near the top of the track context menu would be helpful
See original GitHub issueWhen there are several similarly named tracks in a profile, hiding some of them is less easy than it should be. One need to look at the track order to find the same track in the list in the context menu and untick it.
A very easy to use solution to make track hiding easier would be to have an [x] appear in the top right corner of a track when hovering its label. This would be a single click per track to hide.
If we are concerned this might be too much exposure for a feature that might not be useful for most people, offering a Hide this track menu item near the top of the context menu. Would make this a 2 clicks process, which would already be much faster than the current state.
The use case of this feature for me is when I file a bug I’ve found in a profile, I want to hide all the tracks that aren’t relevant to the bug I’m going to file. When a single track is relevant it’s easy as I can click the Only show "<track name>" item. But when I need a few tracks, it becomes harder as I need to hide one by one all the irrelevant tracks.
