Allow more contributor roles (specifically `rightsholder`)

According to the specs, contributors can only have one of the following roles:

role: a string describing the role of the contributor. It MUST be one of: author, publisher, maintainer, wrangler, and contributor. Defaults to contributor.

Where was this list of roles adopted from? Why can these not be extended to adopt roles from other vocabularies, such as:

Zenodo contributor roles: links to an issue with a screenshot of all roles
MARC Code List for Relators: used in e.g. R packages

I’m especially looking for the role rightsholder.
