Feature request / question: can FontMake add the `meta` table to fonts?
See original GitHub issueFontbakery now gives a WARN
if a font lacks a meta
table, with a severity of 3/10. So, it doesn’t seem super severe, but it would probably be nice if it were possible for FontMake to build this table into fonts.

Thanks!

I’ll keep an eye on it and file a report if I can reproduce this in the forthcoming Ventura release. So annoying that I can’t just go and “upvote” the Feedback ticket you already submitted. Closed feedback systems are awful for stuff like this. -_-
For now, I’ll leave the meta table out. And (CC @felipesanches) possibly this FontBakery check should be deprecated until this is fixed in macOS, or at least updated to more clearly specify that the
meta
table can cause fonts to be hidden by the current macOS?Perhaps Apple wil fix this sooner when more people file a bug report.
