Ble Beacon Transmit stopped working on upgrade to version 2021.10.0

Phone model: Samsung A71 5G

Home Assistant version: core-2021.8.7

Last working Home Assistant release (if known): core-2021.8.7

Description of problem: I upgraded the HA app on my phone and the Ble beacon stopped transmitting. I have numerous automations including turning on my desktop screen and my desk lamp based on putting my phone down on the desk in my office that stopped working after the update. Version 2021.9.0 of the Android app was transmitting fine a couple minutes ago before I updated.

Is there a way to get a signed APK of version 2021.9.0 so I can downgrade and get my lights turned back on?

n.m. that last bit, I downloaded the apk from this repo and was able to successfully downgrade back to version 2021.9.0 using adb. Ble transmitter immediately started back up.

@mloebl - good to hear. This is l exactly why I added this feature to the companion app as I couldn’t find any Android app that could reliably transmit 24 / 7 across Bluetooth restarts etc. Very glad it’s working for all again.

I agree the last beta release is working quite well.
