Last working Home Assistant release (if known):

since it is a new feature in HA, there is no last working version

Description of problem:

The new feature “download diagnostics” is not working via the app. The button is shown, but nothing happens when it is pressed/taped

But the original issue does also mention a download button is present but non functional 🙂

I just edited my comment to clarify that this button is from the frontend, the linked issue is for a community add-on so they might work differently? I can test something in the frontend but not in that add-on 😃

If you still think it is a duplicate I also get it, and will reference the other issue in the PR.

I will re-open this one but we should still close both bugs because they are related and we shouldnt fix 3rd party issues here if that bug still exists. Once we fix the downloading it should apply everywhere.

I also would only test against the frontend for a fix 😃
