Home assistant companion app not connecting

Home Assistant Android version: 2021.12.3-full

Android version: 11

Phone model: Samsung A70 Home Assistant version: 2021.12.5 Last working Home Assistant release (if known): 2021.12.4 Description of problem: Cannot connect to home assistant outside of local network. Inside works ok, through website works okay, but app itself doesn’t work Traceback (if applicable, to get the logs you may refer to: https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/troubleshooting/faqs/#android-crash-logs):

Start fresh did the trick

thats interesting, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? Have you tried to start fresh? https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/troubleshooting/faqs/#starting-fresh-with-the-android-app

in DNS log, recurring error message (no timestamp, but it’s near bottom of the log): [ERROR] plugin/errors: 2 core-mosquitto.local.hass.io. A: plugin/forward: no next plugin found
