Tuya - Dehumidifier has incorrect/missing values

See original GitHub issue

The problem

Hi,

I am trying to use a dehumidifier with Home Assistant via Tuya, specifically this model: PD45E.

I can see it in HA itself and I am able to power it on/off but the min_humidity and max_humidity are both wrong. It also doesn’t report the current humidity or any of the other stats (e.g. mode, fan speed etc.). The slider for setting the humidity I think also uses the wrong min/max values.

I can see the correct data in the Tuya IoT website so I’m not sure what would be causing the discrepancy.

Thank you Charles

Same issue here.

I can not figure out what min_humidity and max_humidity is either. It would be really useful to be able to read the current humidity - whitch properly is the most important status reading. The reading is available according to the diagnostic file (humidity_indoor)

It would be great to be able read and/or set all attributes under “status” and “dehumidify_set_value”.
