Testers Wanted: Homebridge beta v1.0.0

We are looking for some people to help test the next release of Homebridge.

The next release includes a major update to the HAP-Nodejs dependency which adds support for new accessory types and now adheres more to the official Apple HAP spec.

At this stage we are just looking for people to test that the updated version of Homebridge continues to work with all your existing plugins.

To install the beta version:

sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm homebridge@beta

To revert back to the latest stable version:

sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm homebridge@latest

Thank you so much for all the testing that all of you have done so far during this beta. We are looking at releasing this soon into latest, if you could go to the Homebridge-Beta-Plugin-Status wiki and update the plugins that are currently working with the latest beta54, that would be awesome! Let us know if you have any questions.

v0.4.54-beta.50 was just published. It fixes a bug where a whole room would be shown as “no response” even though only one characteristic handler was returning an error. @mitch7391 @Hanfrey @sorriso93 could you please give the latest beta a try and notify me if your issues are fixed by that?
