Stuck on an issue?

Lightrun Answers was designed to reduce the constant googling that comes with debugging 3rd party libraries. It collects links to all the places you might be looking at while hunting down a tough bug.

And, if you’re still stuck at the end, we’re happy to hop on a call to see how we can help out.

Publish extension on open-vsx.org, so it can be used in VSCodium, Gitpod

See original GitHub issue

Can you please publish the extension on Open-VSX, so it can reach more users? open-vsx.org is an alternative to VS Marketplace, that can legally be used in Visual Studio Code forks like VSCodium, GitPod. Of course, you don’t have to change anything in the extension itself (except maybe some README URLs that point to VS Marketplace, if you care about these details).

The process is pretty much the same as publishing to VS Marketplace. It can even be automated, see: https://github.com/open-vsx/publish-extensions

Though the preferred solution for such a situation is to convince the maintainers to start publishing themselves, you can add the extensions here to have them published by our CI workflow.

You can claim ownership of your namespace icsharpcode, and officially support the extension there.

No, special-casing just for open-vsx is not really an option (I will be blunt: the market is too small)
