Unable to run quickshot 3.6.0 or 4.0.0

I’ve updated from 3.5.0 to both 3.6.0 and 4.0.0 and when I try running qs or any qs related command in an existing project I’m getting Error: Shop configuration is from an older version of quickshot. You need to run 'quickshot config' again. I tried deleting the qs files but still getting similar config messages. Rolling back to 3.5.0 works fine.
