Ctrl+Backspace unintuitively deletes layer content rather than text + Sync prompts
See original GitHub issueMight be something on the Krita side, but I regularly use ctrl+backspace
to delete whole words but when typing out in my prompts and I need to delete some text, pressing this shortcut deletes the layer content (or the content of the selection). So of course I just ctrl+z
but it doesn’t work since the undo only applies inside the text box. So I need to click out of the text box, undo, then relearn that I shouldn’t use ctrl+backspace
when typing in prompts.
Which brings me to another point, maybe there should a setting where there’s a sync all prompts in all tabs
function so when you’re inpainting then you’re suddenly in txt2img then jump to img2img, you constantly need to retype things so that everything stays consistent. A synchronous prompt text box would alleviate that retyping.

when youre in the shortcuts window, you can also search for the keys used to do shortcut. So I just typed “ctrl” or “backspace” and a function related to delete showed up and I just unbound it
@rexelbartolome What was the shortcut’s name to look for?
