Checked with the latest development build
- I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
- I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
- Change an entry [Title] from " to `
- Unable to save
- Quit and open again.
- All entries after that change are lost. The modified entry is half there. Anything after “title =” is gone
- Very dissapointed6.
- Deleting JabRef and finding a new bib manager.

@juanmduran 😭😭😭. We are sorry for your loss of data! We are very grateful that you reported the issue and help to dig into what might have happened. We cannot change the past, but we can work on the future.
@juanmduran We are trying to narrow the problem down and we are having troubles reproducing this. From which version did you upgrade? 5.5? can you send us the bib files privately to developers[at]jabref.org ?
