Stuck on an issue?

Lightrun Answers was designed to reduce the constant googling that comes with debugging 3rd party libraries. It collects links to all the places you might be looking at while hunting down a tough bug.

And, if you’re still stuck at the end, we’re happy to hop on a call to see how we can help out.

make error readable for user - not only confusing stacktrace

See original GitHub issue

I would expect with a yaml:

jenkins:
systemMessages: "Jenkins configured automatically by Jenkins Configuration as Code Plugin\n\n"

I’ll get a warning from dryrun saying the file is not applicable - it’s systemMessage, not a plural systemMessages. Is this how dryrun should work? 😃

Instead I get this stacktrace:

Even from a technical point of view we prevented configuration to be applied using the check method, this is indeed very disappointing for end-user, and might even let him feel like we just broke his installation. We need to offer something comparable to FormValidation with relevant diagnostic message
