When I change my password, it always thrown a javax.persistence.RollbackException.

I’m closing this as this is not a JHipster issue, you have modified the User class and did a bug in your application. Now let me explain you the bug:

  • The error you have is thrown by Bean Validation
  • When your JPA entity gets saved by Hibernate, Bean Validation validates that your entity is correct: it is because this validation fails that your entity is not saved, and Hibernate rolls back your transaction
  • The message tells you what is not correct: it is the “npwp” property from the “User” domain object, which should not be Null (you have a @NotNull validation rule on this property)
  • As this property is not by default in JHipster, this is something you have added -> it’s your code, so this bug is on your side (and that’s why I’m closing this)

Anyway, this shouldn’t be very difficult to solve: either fill this property with whatever you want to store in this field, or remove the @NotNull annotation.
