RFC: Theming plugin comparison table
See original GitHub issue@ChanceArthur @danestves @estevanmaito @javifm86 @crswll @innocenzi
š Hi everyone, youāve been @mentioned because youāre a Tailwind theming plugin author whose input I would like on the theming plugin comparison table at the bottom of this repositoryās README
Iāve so far written alone, which makes it inherently biased toward me and my plugin (so I sincerely donāt mean any derision to you/yours). Letās try to turn that around by making this a collaborative and fair summary by providing comments about it!
Here are some ideas for things to point out and discuss:
- correcting wrong / misrepresentative information (about your pluginās features)
- adding, removing, refining rows / features
- adding columns / plugins I missed
- refining explanations in the Legend
Like I wrote there, I created this table to answer āwhatās the right way to do theming?ā as it comes up so frequently in the Tailwind CSS Discord server and let people decide what they care about. Once we have everything ironed out, it would be greatly appreciated if you would include it / a reference to it in your Alternatives section.
Thanks (in advance) everyone! š (Besides this table, thank you all for leading the way with theme plugins for the whole community and inspiring mine.)

Great job with your plugin @JakeNavith! ItĀ“s super complete, I will try it.
I just published my plugin because no other suited my needs and I wanted dark mode with media query. I think my plugin is not going to be neccessary in few weeks because the functionality will be included in Tailwind core (Adam is developing dark mode at this moment).
Thanks for the mention, the information about my plugin is correct. I will add reference in my README.md with the other plugins.
Need to add @benfaceās tailwindcss-alt that I just found out about.
