Related to this issue (I can make a separate one if you’d prefer) is that the deactivation of detached mode whenever PW gets focus could maybe be tweaked to instead require manual deactivation/“reattachment”. This is best illustrated with this situation that I just went through:

  1. Start dev tutorial video
  2. Detach PW
  3. Move focus to IDE
  4. Video ends
  5. Move focus to PW, click “Next Video”
  6. Move focus back to IDE
  7. Forget that PW is no longer detached
  8. Move focus back to PW
  9. Detach PW
  10. Move focus back to IDE

Admittedly, my actions are partly caused by the fact that I’ve been using Fluid Browser previously, which has that behavior. Despite that, I do think it would be nice to keep PW detached until I attach it. Or possibly have a setting along the lines of “Cancel Detached Mode on Focus”.

I agree with @squatto , I would expect PW to stay detached until I re-attach it
