Please try using the Pyxel Editor!
See original GitHub issueAs of version 0.8.6, Pyxel completed implementing the planned tool. Now you can create images, tilemaps, sounds, and musics with it.
I know that there are missing features and minor bugs, so please try using it. And write something to this thread if you notice something.
You can use the Pyxel Editor with typing pyxeleditor
on your terminal.

Regarding 1, could you explain in a bit more detail?
Regarding 2, if you mean the way to input the same note with mouse, there’s no way for now. And the easiest way is to use keyboard piano (q2w3er5t6y7u zsxdcvgbhnjm keys as piano key layout) + enter.
@drunkwcodes Thank you for trying!
(If “music editor” means the editor of the 4th page) Pyxel’s music is sequence of sounds, so there’s no “rest” in the music editor. But you can make “rest only sound” in the sound editor and use it is instead of rests. In that case, please note that Pyxel’s each sound has its own speed and playing back speed depends on it.
(In the case of the sound editor, the 3th page) The lowest key is rest and you can input it by clicking or a key + enter.
