Move dot (period) key to left of space in portrait mode
See original GitHub issueI press . (aka dot, period) VERY often when trying to press space with my right
thumb, holding the phone in portrait mode on Galaxy S3 I9305.
It would be very nice to move the dot to the left side of the space key.

Small comment here. I had the same issue : too many times hitting the [.] key instead of [space], on the gingerbread 4-row layout. I have solved this by hiding permanently the settings key, making the [space] key wider … It’s not a perfect solution, but works quite well for me Cheers, and thanks for the awesome work
1st of all, credit where credit is due: Klaus Weidner (@klausw) made HK; I (@TPS) just try to help out on GitHub.
I do see how this could be a problem with smaller devices, even though I notice a <kbd>
→ [Tab]
</kbd> in between, probably placed there to space those 2 out. What you’re probably asking for is an additional layout that moves that <kbd>.
</kbd> for some folks’ convenience. Feel free to make & submit a pull request like #446→#491, which also requests, but, moreso, then adds another layout.
