Import takes a long time
See original GitHub issueSummary
Not sure if we ever benchmarked this, but it just took me 2 hours to import the full CK-12 channel into a fresh Kolibri installation from a local drive. 6GB is a lot, but I didn’t expect it to be this long. I was testing in the VM, so technically it imports from a local shared folder which is on the same physical hard drive, and I don’t know how that translates to non-VM importing scenario.

@radinamatic can you test this on release-v0.6.x and see how it compares now? (may be no change, but curious to know)
Just finished another full CK-12 import from USB, this time not into VM, but my dev repo, and the result is the same (44 minutes).
