Asciiflow 3 will (eventually) have this support. The existing codebase is not very well set up to handle a different output (I know that sounds strange, just take my word for it).
Also, I apologize for the gross delay on Asciiflow 3. The project was handed off to me at a time free time was plentiful but a number of things in my life changed and I’ve been spending the better part of a year getting them back on track.
This is a feature I’ve always wanted out of the project, too, and asciiflow 3 is designed with this usecase in mind.
Yes it will help if the project goal talks about render target as you said. I typically encourage scope to be lean especially for projects like these in order to motivate continued development and contributions. Anyways, not sure if there is going to be an asciiflow3 😃
