Pen colors are different in 3.0 than 2.0

The pen should handle colors the same in Scratch 3.0 as in Scratch 2.0
Actual Behavior
In Scratch 3.0 the set color to (number)
block doesn’t work the same as it does in 2.0
Steps to Reproduce
Run https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/196307621/ in the VM https://llk.github.io/scratch-gui/#196307621 . In Scratch 2.0 the circles are colored, in Scratch 3.0 the circles are all white.

@towerofnix, actually, I added the “set pen color to (white)” block. I needed it in Scratch 2.0 to get the “set color to (number)” to actually change the color.
Great idea @towerofnix, I’ll do that.
