Contribute community script
See original GitHub issueI’d like to be able to contribute a community script to your app.
I believe your installer is a game changer for TF2 configs. I’d like to see if I can contribute a modular utility script, like key-modifiers or conditional viewmodels, and see what you think.
Eventually, I’d like to expand the GUI to provide class-specific overrides for these options.
I.e., “By default my viewmodels are on, but for Soldier’s primary, I’ll turn it off. The Q button (lastinv
) should work as expected.”
I can adapt my script to work with your custom.cfg
approach. Would that be an OK place to start?

Sure, you can cook some stuff up for the generator, in whatever format you wish. It would help me figure out requirements for generator parsing.
However, mind that I probably can’t commit to developing this until a few months from now, due to other obligations that are taking up my time. So any mockups, planning and basic groundwork would be really valuable too, and something that I can help with at this point.
